My-Tea Legacies
On the right is a picture of my grandaughter, Elsa, who loves tea as much as her gran.﷯ As a mother and grandmother, I desire to see the tradition of tea continue for more generations. Along with the family custom of sharing tea, the opportunity to practice etiquette and manners became part of my ministry. I have traveled with women on tea tours, written articles and books about tea, and speak at retreats and events to share how tea can be a daily part of your life. I have catered teas for both adults and children. At our local churches, we usually group our women's ministries by age, I would love to see ministry settings with more generation to generation connections. Including all age groups in our activities, especially an afternoon tea, can serve as a powerful example of bridging the gap and beginning new relationships and friendships. It is my desire to share the inheritance and legacy of traditions and keep them for the next generation to enjoy. So, you see, I am not only steeped in tea, but in history and traditions. My true passion is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Only through his strength is any of this possible. I pray that you might take time to meet him if you don't know him, and if you have a faith walk, share his love with others over a cup of tea.
